History
JD Landscape Construction
In 1986, started as JD Landscape Construction by partners Ned Yokich and Peter Demrovsky, the firm focused mainly on landscape construction and small commercial and industrial works. Firmly rooted in the already acquired construction experience of the owners, this period quickly faded as the firm began to grow into working on larger construction projects.
Golf Course Construction
By 1989 JD had completed their first major golf course construction project. This catapulted the firm into growth as the golf industry began to grow quickly. JDL also acquired many new skills with the scale of some projects spanning 2+ years, and allowed us to merge typically complex drainage, piping, excavating, and foundation work into projects requiring significant finishing attention at a "golf course" level of detail, and allowing the blending of the two fields of excavating.
Golf course construction prepared the company for today’s market, with skills and lessons learned in construction and landscape. The company exited the golf course construction industry in 2008.
